In the instances where remote backup solutions are purchased, the data will be transmitted via a secure VPN (virtual private network) connection from the client's site to Copperskies head office.

The data will be encrypted prior to transmission and will not be decrypted upon receipt.

The encrypted data will be housed on a Copperskies server for the sole purpose of providing a valid off-site backup.

Copperskies will not access the data without expressed written consent from the client to whom the data belongs.

In the event that off-site data recovery is required, the encrypted data will be transmitted to the client's site via VPN.
